We recently moved out of our college town into a bigger city not too far away. Our first home together is located in a smaller neighborhood within the city, where we're able to walk to all of the bars, restaurants, and farmers markets. Living in this area as well as diving into the post-college-real-world has opened our eyes to how much we love good food.
As much as we love discovering new food finds in our new city, our entry level budget doesn't allow us to do this as much as we'd like. So, we started experimenting in the kitchen. After many tried and failed attempts, we found ourselves able to recreate some of our new found favorites in our own kitchen.
